Football Victoria has now confirmed that due to the State Govt.’s announcement, regarding the extension of restrictions, the 2021 competition season cannot be completed.
“The lockdown extension through September, with no guaranteed timeframe for a safe return to football, leaves us with no choice but to cancel the 2021 season for all metropolitan Melbourne competitions.”

FCBL will now consider what this means with regards to closing out 2021 as well as preparations for 2022 and come back to you within the next week or so.
